March: Allie's account of seeing Dan at the premiere of 'House of Fury':

"Well House of Fury is Great, except daniel doesn't appear in it as often as i'd like but that's ok, he's so cute in the movie...also..it would have been so awesome if daniel could participate in all the kung fu action - his kung fu action skills looked poor when u compare it to Stephen and ah Gil..however, since Daniel didn't want to risk his knee injury..his action was subtle...
Well, overall i loved the movie..tons of funny bits from all the actors and its action-packed! Hmm some particular funny bits include....i don't wanna give too much away, but i'd say stephen, ah gil and anthony wong were great...especially when you see the feuding between stephen and ah gil..ah sa isn't bad either when she flirts with stephen...and yes i did hear about the casual sex thing..it was very short, cause they then changed the topic where anthony talks about his friend swimming in a fish tank..anyways...ok my experience!
Ok so we entered the theatre and since we were considered quite early we got the choice to choose wherever we wanted to sit and we noticed a VIP section, so we decided to sit across the VIP row, hoping to sit near Daniel and the cast. Once we waited for about 15 mins and viewers had mainly come in, the actors slowly filed in..some like Fong joe ming (jackie’s son) had sat down in the VIP area while Daniel, Stephen and Micheal Wong sat in the seats in front of the stage...we figured they would go on stage to introduce the movie first…and that’s exactly did...the 3 went onstage. Stephen was I think wearing the same thing the night before to the hk entertainment film expo…silver/grey shirt with black suit …then Daniel in the middle...as u can see from the picture below...it was so funny when I first saw him...from head to ankles...he wore a traditional Chinese dress type of thing-not feminine by the way…just different!...then I look down and it was so funny to see him pair it off with a pair of red addidas sneakers...they even had random little red dots on them (I’ll tell u later how I saw)..so yeh...what he wore was so cute and funny in a cute way...then Michael wong…so the 3 are on stage…stephen talks in Chinese about the film..thanks a few people...then Daniel talks how they’ve all worked hard on it and put a lot of effort and that he hope people will enjoy it...then michael’s like…since these two guys spoke in Chinese I’ll speak in English, but don’t’ call me a ‘gwai low’ (white guy), I know Chinese (speaking in chinese)..so he says some stuff about the movie and stephen’s directing...can’t remember… then they begin to exit the stage, where Stephen and Daniel exit on the left while Michael exits to the rights and before he reaches the stairs, Michael then realises he was the only one on that side of the stage and he’s like ‘wait...for me guys’ and Daniel, still holding the mic says in English (so hot)..something like "come on over to this side"...and then Michael runs back over to the left side…stops in the middle of the stage and says..something about break dancing and he does like 7 seconds of break dancing...haha…it was so funny…so after that...the 3 guys made their way to the VIP section...and that’s when Daniel was like 4 feet away when he came up the steps to enter his row in the VIP section…that’s where I saw his shoes with the cute little red random dots…too bad they sat on the far end...so I couldn’t’ see him during the movie..but that’s ok...cause I was there to watch the movie…or else I wouldn’t have been able to concentrate…
so the movie came on...during the opening credits of where it said Stephen fung: director everyone clapped...i felt so happy for him..directing the movie..so proud..and whenever during the movie where there was any really funny bits...trust me there was tons..its so good..everyone would clap….ok yeh...so after the movie ended…viewers started leaving..
i however stayed back to catch a glimpse of the stars still sitting down…so I stood up take a peak at Daniel, with difficulty, but he managed to browse the theatre..him and Stephen…and I caught daniel’s eye and he looked at me ( my friend and I were the only standing still people while other exited) with this face..u know the face when u think u’ve seen them before but u just can’t remember quite well?..well that kinda face..so I smiled back at him..but since ppl were exiting it was hard to see wat happened after..i think he just kept browing..and Stephen was so cute…when he was also looking around he took his drink from the cinema and just sorta drank it like a kid.. (so cute..so rare would u see stars so casually drinking, esp amongst when most of the ppl watching the movie didn’t buy stuff to eat)
anyways…so once most of the people left, not the stars..my friend and I went up a few rows across us to derouted in order to pass Daniel on our way out..we tried to take a pic of him but there were guards and we had flash and we didn’t want to be so rude..and not respecting the guard’s wishes to not take pictures..i snuck one pic..however it’s the back of daniel’s head..(again like last event!)..but we got a clear pic of Stephen…then we passed daniel…sitting down..i tried to peak over the guard’s shoulder..i caught a few glances at Daniel..i wish I could take a picture with him, but I didn’t’ want to disrespect his privacy and the security’s orders..so its ok..i’ll have other chances…lol..then yeh that’s pretty much the juicy bits…hope you enjoyed!"

Allie, at the Tenth Golden Bauhinia Awards ceremony on 6th March 2005, got to meet Daniel and gave him a very special present!! Here's the interview and her own account follows:

1. What was the whole atmosphere like before daniel arrived?
Hmm there was only about 17 of us Daniel fans..there were also andy lau fans but they weren’t standing near us because I think the ‘behind the scenes’ppl knew he would be arriving first so I think they stood near the door, while we stood before the red carpet…

2. What kind of work were u doing there?
With Daniel fans..i would say..seeing my admirer

3. Where did he appear from i.e. a limo?
I’m going to guess the same car he left in..no it wasn’t a limo..a white van type of thing…I also got the license plate!- but it’s the JCE company car, so if I see it next time for all I know it could be some other celeb in it

4. What happened when he appeared did fans scream??
Well us fans didn’t really scream our lungs out because it was inappropriate and we knew he wouldn’t really like it..so we’re like Daniel, Daniel….between subtle and exited…not too loud..well in answer to your question- he sort of paused and collected my lil random gift..and then walked towards the reporters..he didn’t’ stand there for long 5. did u jus walk up to him? Well I let him approach the beginning of the red carpet then I approached. what was his facial expressions like wen u approached him? Shocked, that my gift was random, yet thoughtful for the gesture

6. About how long did u spend in front of him? No less than a minute or even close enough to touch him?
Close enough to touch his hand, so right in front of him and enough for eye contact.

7. Did he say anything at all to u?
He said 'Thank you' after he received my gift

8. Did he smile?
Yes

9. Do u know whether he ate the food, was he holding it for a while?
I don’t know if he ate the food during my presence…definitely not during the ceremony..didn't see him chew..i’m guessing he put it in his suit pocket..

10. After you gave him the food where did he go?
Walked down the red carpet towards the reporters and this board of where he signed his name

11. Did he speak in public?
I went to the gym yesterday and I saw him on tv being interviewed for like a minute, wasn’t able to hear wat he said, but no he didn’t speak to the public, from what I know

12. What was he wearing?
Pinstripe black and white suit , black tie, and cute shoes..also black and white with this cool pattern ooooh!!

13. What were his hands like when u touched it??!
:D:D soft, manly ..i dunno how do I describe?

14. Was he with anyone else? e.g Lisa
No

15. DID HE WIN??
No he didn’t win, but that’s ok because in our hearts fans know he is our number 1 winner

16. When u shouted at him, how was his face wen he turned around and waved? Was the wave personal u to and ur friend or to everyone and anyone tht was ther??
I’d say he was sort of shocked that such a loud and clear yelled his name out..i’m not kidding I was loud for the first time probably..and he heard from about 10 metres away..when he turned he smiled and waved ..i think he recognised me as the candy/chocolate giver..lol..well I think the wave was to me and my friend, since we were the only people standing on the barriers and it was a high wave, so most likely to us!

WOW!! Thanks so much for your details of the wonderful night Allie, I'm sure you still can't get over it now! Let's keep our fingers crossed that Dan ate your food! I'm sure he thought it was so sweet of you guys to do that, it was the thought that counted!!Hehehe....gosh I'm so jealous...

Here's her very own detailed account:

"So i was talking with this girl from the UK (Webmistress: This is MEE, Alice!!) who is also a fan of daniel and she was asking me if i was going to watch the 10th Golden Bauhinia Awards and i'm like huh? isn't it on the 27th of march, but apparently it was something different, so she sent me the site of where she got the dates and so I checked it out and I read the thing (it was in Chinese, so it took long) and the news update said the webhoster/Daniel fan had extra tickets to the award show and whoever replied before sat. could get the tickets..i I emailed asking if she still had any tickets and thankfully she did, so I also brought a friend, cause I had never seen the daniel fans before..so we met at this subway station, had dinner and got acquainted then took a bus to the place where the awards was.. here comes the best bit… So we were directed by a few ‘behind the scenes’ people and they told us to go stand in this place and wait till Daniel and the other celebs arrived. I was so nervous, because it’s DANIEL u know, like big time luver and hot and everything I love ya..so I was nervous, anxious and so hyper that I don’t even mind getting caught in pics or on video by the reporters…so the first celeb who came was this woman I didn’t know..all I know that she wasn’t wearing a bra..oh and she sat next to Daniel in the ceremony….so yeh then Andy lau came…I took a fuzzy pic of him..but yeh he wasn’t bad looking..like in the pics..no different..then it was a few minor celebs like from kung fu hustle and some other not as well-known..then….walked Daniel through the door..tall, handsome , ying, in a pin stripe suit with his hair done oh so well and relaxed and not overworked…so he came through the doors from outside and walked in…approach us fans (we were standing before the red carpet started.. and the reporters were at the end of the red carpet)…so he approached us and the red carpet and I was the first person to approach him and I gave him something ( before he came my friend told me to give him something but I didn’t know wat so we looked through our bags for junk or something and she had an individual Chocolate Turtle plus half a packet of dentyne cinnamon gum- so random I know..then on a lil note I quickly wrote: To Daniel, From Allie (canadian gal) and then on the back, Good luck and hope you enjoy the food, then my email..i know he wont do anything but hey who cares)so I handed him the um, chocolate and note and he stuck his hand out after I said here we have something for u and so I placed it on his hand and he replyed Thank you in eng. He was so sweet!!!i think he put it in the pocket..can’t remember cause i was so hyped after he talked to me..oh also, eye contact too..i think it was cause I spoke in English, and not like the other fans speak in Chinese, and possibly my Canadian accent yeh… So when daniel walked along the red carpet and towards the reporters..us fans ran around this big pillar block thing and since there was already ppl waiting to line up and go in, we had to stand behind them, and from that spot u could see the celebs standing and posing for reporters and stuff..and since there were barriers on one of the sides, my friend and I stood on them, to take a look and Daniel, trying to call him but don’t think he heard…so then just before he went into the hall, a fan suggested I yell loudly his name, so I did, I yelled loud and clear DANEIL and he turned around and looked in my direction and waved..so cute I swear..made me feel so special.. So then we finally calmed down and went into the hall, which wasn’t that big, probably seating 400 people and so we took our seats and the aisle next to our seat was the aisle that other celebs would exit from the outside reporter mayhem..so we were literally half a meter from passing celebs like Gil from twins, Yum Dat Wah, Zhou sing qi (kung fu hustle), some girl named pinky I think, Andrew Leen hoi, and I think that was it..other celebs that attend the show was Jackie chan, quite a lot from kung fu hustle,..anyways I can’t remember who else..didnt’ really care..lol… Overall I tried taking a pic with Daniel but I couldn’t get that close, even though from where I was sitting, I could see his hair..and since he sat next to Jackie, I didn’t want to intrude or disrespect his space, esp when Jackie began getting pissed at the reporters…but I did manage to take a pic with Andrew Leen Hoi..anyways so after the show..daniel didn’t win either of the 2 awards, but that’s ok…so yes after the show we saw Daniel exit the hall and we thought he would be goin to the car park downstairs so we quickly went downstairs..no celeb cars or ppl were there so we headed back up and fair enough he was beginning to exit from the hall..and so we quickly ran towards him asking to take a pic with him but he said he couldn’t cause he was in a rush to get somewhere, but I was standing so close to him, like literally behind him..he smelled so nice..hahah..ok so yeh..i also took a back-of-the-neck picture of him..so hot even from the back…lol..anyways…so he left with Andrew in the JCE company car and if we got a taxis quick enough we could have followed them, but we didn’t’…we thought of places of where he could be going so we finally thought he would head back to the company head quarters, so we us fans went there and waited, thinking that they would have had to come back for Daniel and ppl to collect their own cars..so we waited and they didn’t show up…anyways,…that’s it….my great experience…
